About me
I am an Alternative High School classroom teacher of 15+ years. I teach at a Job Corps center, serving students of multiple backgrounds and skill levels, covering all subject areas for grades 9-12. I currently have a small number of students in the classroom for in-person learning, with the majority of my students participating in distance learning. Most of my curriculum is online, lending itself fairly well to distance learning. Since students are working on completing credits needed to earn their diplomas, they each have individualized course plans and very few students are working on the same class at the same time, so I do not hold online virtual classes. I love my job, I'm committed to the success of my students and I'm eager to learn new ways to improve their learning experience and success
