About me
Svetlana Kushnerchuk is a National Board Certified Teacher (EAYA: Spanish), who earned her Bachelor's degree in Spanish Secondary Education with a minor in ELD and a TESOL certificate from Eastern Washington University. She also holds a Masters degree in Hispanic Studies from Washington State University. Svetlana is trilingual in English, Russian, and Spanish and can truly empathize with multilingual learners, especially English Langauge Learners. She works at University High School teaching Spanish 1 and 2, as well as Beginning ELD. She co-teaches with core content teachers, advocates on behalf of ELLs to teachers, counselors, and administrators, and loves teaching languages.
