About me
Betsy Casteel has been the English Language Development Specialist/Teacher at North Pines Middle School in the Central Valley School District for almost 20 years where she advocates for multilingual learners at all levels. A graduate of Eastern Washington University (BAEd 2003) and Grand Canyon University (MA TESOL 2017), she is a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT ENL/EAYA 2012, 2022). Her approach to teaching incorporates creating a welcoming environment with a smile for all learners.
